Abstract : The number of IoT devices / sensors has increased significantly in the last few years. To support computational demand in real-time latency-sensitive applications on geographically distributed IoT devices / sensors, a new computational model called "fog computing" has been introduced.
In general, fog computing is located near IoT devices / sensors and extends cloud-based computing, storage, and networking capabilities.
In this book, a comprehensive overview of fog computing and related technologies has presented.
